Why Turstone
Who it is for, what it replaces and what it brings back.
Made for Irish trades firms
Turstone is for heating, plumbing and electrical firms in Ireland, from a sole trader to a firm of 10 people.
It runs the office, the van and the phone from one place: customers and their equipment, the diary, quotes, invoices, service reminders and calls you miss. Your office and your technicians use the same system, so nobody retypes a job.
It is built for the way Irish firms work. VAT rates on every line, RCT reverse charge, Eircodes, and copies of RGII and Safe Electric certificates kept with the site.
Out of your head
Get the business out of your head
Every job has a person and a date
Each job is booked to a technician on a day in the diary, with the checklist they fill in on the phone.
Every enquiry is caught
Missed calls get a text back. Booking-page requests and enquiry emails land on one board. Once you switch it on, after-hours callers leave a message with the call assistant.
Your numbers, not your memory
Six owner reports, each with a CSV:
- Revenue
- Jobs done
- Average job value
- Paid after a reminder
- Service reminders that became jobs
- Jobs per technician
What it replaces
Paper diaries and whiteboards
One diary for every technician, on the office screen and on each phone. Drag a visit to move it. With no signal a technician still sees today's visits, and changes are sent when the phone is back online.
A different tool for each job
Quotes, invoices, texts and reminders live in one system, so a quote becomes a job and a finished job becomes an invoice without copying anything across.
Already using Tradify, Jobber or ServiceM8? You can bring your customers across from Excel or CSV, and from Tradify, Jobber or ServiceM8 (those three are new, so check the result).
What it brings back
Work and money that slip away when you are on a job.
Missed calls
A caller you could not answer gets a text with a link to ask for a visit. After hours, an assistant that says it is automated takes a message, and it is waiting on your Today screen in the morning.
Unpaid invoices
Customers pay by card from a link in a text. Reminders go out at 7, 14 and 30 days, and stop once the invoice is paid.
Missed services
Each customer is reminded before their annual service is due, with a link to ask for a visit. Certificates and service plans are kept with the site.
